Well the playoffs took place this last Sunday over good food and drink. Here's a run down on how the matches went.
Every one watched as this match was played. It was the Howlers vs Quiksilver. Quicksilver missing an usual teammate did their best with a scrappy sub that did come through when she needed to. In the end the Howlers did grab the match 8 to 2.
After the above match was done, every one got to start. The Howlers got to jump in against the top seed Megatons. I saw the matches playing and thought things were closer, but in the end it was the Howlers again 8 to 2.
Gotcha got the tango with Go Dirt. Talk about tight games. Usually coming down to the outs, some how Go Dirty pulled away. Not to say Bryan & Christi weren't burning marks into the board when they got their chance. In the end Go Dirty took the match barely 8 to 6.
Now it was the struggle match. Go Dirty against the Howlers. Go Dirty jumped to a commanding 4 game lead right off the bat, but the Howlers jumped into the match winning 01 games. In the end Go Dirt took 1st, 8 to 4.
Payouts should be 1st place $1200.00 and 2nd $800.00, depending on what medalist sends our way.
I want to say thank you to every one that played and kept the league going. It was a fun group and best of all, the attitude was minimal. Thanks again.

So it's here, Medalist at the Peanut Farm playoffs. I'm not sure where Medalist pulled there numbers from, actually it's funky all across the board. So what I've done is added every ones games played and their wins. Every one matched at 135 games, so we don't have to worry about win percentage. Here's how everyone faired.
1st - Megatons
2nd - Go Dirty
3rd - Whatever
4th - Howlers
5th - Quiksilver
The Hotshots have dropped out, so our playoffs will be done with 5 teams. Play starts at 12:00 on 4/27/08. The teams that must be there at that time are the Howlers & Quicksilver. The winner of that match will play Megatons. When Megatons get to play so will the other match, Go Dirty & Whatever. Winners of those 2 matches are in the money and battle it out for 1st and 2nd.
With 4 games missing from being played, we're looking at $2000.00 pay out. 1st will win $1200.00 and 2nd wins $800.00. Still a nice chunk of change. The payout will have to wait until Medalist send us our check at the time of our scheduled playoff.
If you have any questions feel free to give a yell.

There's still a few games left out there to play. Of course we have week 10. We've all also agreed to move our playoffs up to 4/27 to get things over and down with. The only catch we have is we have to wait for the payout as Medalist doesn't send the money up until the 5/18. Here's a list of the games still outstanding.
Week 1
Megatons vs Hot Shots
Weeks 7
Howlers vs Hot Shots
Week 8
Go Dirty vs Hot Shots
Howlers vs What Ever
Now it could be I'm just missing score sheets, that's very possible. Let me know if you're holding on to any score sheets or when these matches will be played. Thanks in advance and remember, games we're short come out of the total payout at a rate of $48.00 a match, so it digs into the fund quickly.
Well we’ve officially shot week 6 that leaves 4 more weeks until the end of the season. There’s a few make up matches that need to be attended too. First there’s week 1 of the season.
Make up for week 1
Megatons vs Hot Shots
What Ever vs Go Dirty
Howlers vs Quick Silver
Make up for week 4
Howlers vs Megaton
Make up for week 5
Quick Silver vs Hot Shots
Make up for week 6
Quick Silver vs Howlers
That’s a bit of games to be made up. If you need your packets, let me know, I’ll be happy to meet you at the peanut farm or give you what ever to help in getting these caught up. We’re scheduled for 2 weeks off of darts with a return on 3/30. This is a great time to make up those games. Both schedules and contact numbers for the teams are on the site, or call me, I’ll help you out.
On another note, I need all the score sheets from the first 5 weeks. I'm missing What Ever vs Hotshots on 2/24 & all the make ups. I have to fax those down to get every ones ratings, joy joy!
Let see what’s gone down…
The Hotshot girls have increased their winning record to one higher while playing against Megatons. But like their name, the Megatons were too much to be tames. Megatons 9 vs Hotshots 6.
Go Dirty went to roll around in the mud with What Ever. Winning a commanding lead in the beginning, Dirty almost blew it. Go Dirty 9 vs What Ever 6.

It was the start of Furrondy this weekend and Peanut Farm was hosting an event. Man parking was hard to come by, but sooner or later every one found a spot. Joe Rose had to be awaken, not sure if he was hung over, or just feeling ill but after a call he did make it. Josh Lenhart was another one that let the weekend slip his mind, leaving the whole opposing team waiting.
Guys I can’t stress this enough, if for some reason you need to reschedule, please do so, contact me, and contact the opposing team. It’s common courtesy.
I’m glad to see the gals on Hotshots are moving up. Each week they’ve played they’ve won a little more. Though Whatever did manage to keep the gals down and get the win.
Quick Silver squeaked by Go Dirty, keeping the matches close and bouncing back and forth. Looks like it’s going to be a battle to the end for these two.
The Howlers match was decided to be rescheduled at about 30 after the hour. Josh was running with the reindeer. Josh, please give Mike Redfield a ring and setup the make up match.
Some thing to keep in mind, March16 & March 23 we’re not scheduled to play. You can use these dates to do any make up matches you may have. Like the first week of play we’re all yet to make up.
Any questions, give me a ring.

Though it's a little tight around the playing area, the group playing out of the peanut farm is having a blast. Last Sunday there was even a little more room as one match was rescheduled. The boards got scooted a bit and are set to the right distance, so there's a little more room and the need for the long bomb is ones own option.
Whatever continues their winning streak. As I peeked over from time to time I saw the score go from even too the Howlers allowing Whatever to steal a few here and there. Well they held on.
First off I want to say, when you play the twins and their mom, watch out. Not that they're heavy hitters, but they're good folks. You start talking, smiling, having a good time, before you know it, they've punched you in the eye and take a game here and there. But all joking aside, the games were fun.
I hear rumor of a makeup match being done Thursday. Good luck every one!
I've posted the schedules and team rosters for the teams playing.
First off I want to say thanks for everyone jumping in and keeping this league up and running. For those of you that don't know, this was originally league hosted by Alaska Mountain Bingo that closed. Rather than have Medalist keep all the players money, we opted to move the league and keep it going. The Peanut Farm was nice enough to agree to host us and continue our play. I personally think it's a nice change to the dark bar scene we've grown used to.
Anyways, what are we playing for? Well with the money from the first half, the money medalist gives back to us and the money from our second half total payout should be $2250.00. I don't think that's bad chunk of change to battle it out for. Since this is really the second half, we're playing for the seating into the playoffs as well as our medalist pins and other goodies.
About the schedule, before anyone freaks out, yeah there's a date that says 2/3. WE ARE NOT PLAYING ON SUPER BOWL SUNDAY. This match will have to be made up some where along the line. February is packed full of tournaments as well, so please try to be flexible with other teams in making up games. It's important for the league that all games are played, when all the games are played, we can pay out that nice payout, other wise it shrinks. If for some reason you need to reschedule a match, notify the team you're supposed to play and me. This way I'll have an idea of what's going on.
Well I look forward to playing against each of you. Peanut Farm has good food to keep us well distracted from our darts too. If you have any questions feel free to contact me. Otherwise I'll see ya 2/10.
