Top seeds advance in round two of the play-offs, but there were no easy matches.
Moose slipped a little this week when it lost a singles match on their way to a win over Pioneer A 11 – 1. I never did find out who actually lost the singles or for that matter who won for Pioneer. The only high darts reported was Alvin with a 102 out, so I guess I could rule him out.
Cabin Tavern is headed to the finals, beating Hideaway A 10 – 4 in what was a nail bitter most of the night. The Cabin and Hideaway ended the singles dead tied 4 to 4 with most games going three matches and neither team willing to back down. But that all changed when they got to the doubles as Cabin stepped up and won the next three doubles to wrap up the match. Pat had a good night shooting two Ton -40’s and Kristi started one of her matches strong with a 101 on. Scott for Hideaway attempted to bring them back into the match hitting a 140, but he couldn’t rally the troops.
Next week’s final will be:
Moose Vs Cabin Tavern at the Moose
This is the final match of the season, so if you haven’t found the fishing rod just yet, come on out and watch the last two teams knock each other around.
