Good games all across the league, here is a quick highlight on how everyone did.
Cabin Tavern visited the Hideaway this week and managed to come away with a win, but it was not for a lack of effort by Hideaway B. Rob started the night with a 112 on and went on to skunk Maryann in the first match. Not to be intimated, Sam for the Hideaway also shot a 112 on, but could hold the lead and ended up losing the game. Kristi led the Cabin to victory shooting a 140 in the team match to secure a 15 to 4 win for the Cabin.
Pioneer A was also looking to improve their standings in the league, by beating Fight Deck 12 to 7. Although Mike from Flight Deck tried to keep them in the match by shooting a 137, Pioneer answered with Dave shooting a 140 and John starting a match with 136. Maybe Flight Deck with have better luck next week against the Buckaroo!
Moose and Hideaway A went toe-to-toe last night, with Moose coming out on-top. The heavy hitters for Moose was Sean with a 140 and 135, Greek a 140 and Dean 135. Hideaway answered with Tom shooting a 120 on and Scott hitting a 101 on. Although down early in the match Hideaway came back to win the final three matches to make the night look respectable. Final score Moose 10, Hideaway A 9.
Buckaroo and Pioneer B was another two teams looking for a win. With Steve for Pioneer shooting a 140 and Mike from Buckaroo scoring 125 the only high scores of the night, this match must have come down to the outs. Which in the end, apparently Buckaroo found one more that Pioneer. Buckaroo 10, Pioneer B 9.
With only four weeks left in the regular season, the next two weeks should give us a clear picture on who will be where for the play-offs. So keep hitting those doubles and have fun.
