Well, after picking on Pat at the banquet about not putting out any updates in regards to the downtown league, I figured I would put out a quick statement.

While Carpentiers had a great regular season, placing themselves solidly in first place, the Cabin Tavern won the playoffs to take the trophy. A hearty congratulations to both of these teams as well as a thanks to every team and player for a rather fun and enjoyable season.

By far, there was less whining and bickering than I have heard during a league (either soft or steel dart s) in a long time.

My last two thoughts are for John and Pat. In case you two have not heard it, or at least enough, thanks for running the league and for keeping us updated via the web.
