The Summer NDA season isn’t slowing down yet, going into week 7 there’s still a lot of makeup games out there. I know the start of the season was strange (some people just don’t know when to sign up until after the season starts), and some teams just got back from the Las Vegas tournament, but we’ve hit that magic number of 10 games out there in limbo. Here’s who is missing what….

3/27
Renegades at Short Stuff

4/3
Double Trouble at BJs
4/10
Bilikin at Howlers
The Bro's at O Mamma

4/17
Mighty Road Dogs at Dougs Whales
210 East at Alaskan Rednecks

4/24

I have to say, looking at the numbers, the teams are fairly close, and the only one that’s really pulled away form the pack is Money Pit but could still easily be caught when all the teams get their games caught up. Now I know I’m a bad, bad person, I was at the matches last night. Sorry, but the chance for a day off from darts sprung it’s head and I took it. Here’s how the matches played out.

Matches must be played before the next posted date. The machine has a League Playoff option that each player plays into. Any questions call Marcia @ Vend Alaska 522-1937. Please make arrangements with your opposing teams if a change has to be made.

The Board for Medalist at PJ’s met. I’m not certain that it was the board, but the decision deadline was in front of them. Present were Andrea, Kevin, Duane (I’m sure they are Board members), Marcia from Vend Alaska (operator), and Joseph, Margaret & Dupes (members). Diving into the discussion, we tackled the matter at hand. There’s not enough money to buy every one a trip to Las Vegas. After going over how much money is available, the costs of airfare and the amount of players, here’s what was decided.

Untitled Document Over all it was a decent showing for Alaska. I have to say, what ever Tri-Valley does as far as their leagues in the Valley it's paying off and working well. Vend Alaska wasn't represented nearly as deep as they normally are, but still managed to get a few checks. Here's the results I've stolen from the NDA page. Good job to all those that went and competed.

PJ's Medalist Board Meeting
5/5/08 6:00pm

I’m not sure why some people’s kids have problems with common courtesy, but it appears that even in darts it still runs through. Please, if for some reason, you’re going to be late, or need to reschedule a match, contact your opponents with enough time for them to make arrangements. If you’re running late, call the bar and let some one know, or better yet your teammates. To often have I seen people that strolled in late while every one is waiting for them or a complete team not show at all.

Summer Nugget is looking for 1 more team to round out its 2008 season. Teams are made up of at least 6 people and must have at least 2 of each sex on the team playing. The league shoots Tuesdays at 7:30, and the season starts 5/13/08 and lasts 15 weeks. If you would like to sign up a team feel free to contact Carmen 271-5877 or Stevie 230-7971.

Hard to believe that there's so many games out there that need to be played, but it's true and very possible. Games that aren't played hurt the league in many forms. The first way is the money from the match never gets into the league for payouts. Second, there no games being played, making the teams mis numbered as far as games played and what not. Third, stats, I don't think anything else needs to be said. Most importantly, the games not being played robs the bar of the people being there.
