Top seeds advance in round two of the play-offs, but there were no easy matches.
Moose slipped a little this week when it lost a singles match on their way to a win over Pioneer A 11 – 1. I never did find out who actually lost the singles or for that matter who won for Pioneer. The only high darts reported was Alvin with a 102 out, so I guess I could rule him out.
A division
Flightless versus Kiss - Flightless is still flightless and Kiss is still dominating the A division. 15 - 4 was the final with no high outs or T80 reported, but I'm sure there was some good darts and games thoughout the match.
In the other A division game between Bashers and Dooners appears that it was a close match to the end with Dooners ending up on top 11 - 8 with no high outs or T80 reported. (Side Note - Todd informed me that the Dooners will be shooting out of the Blue Fox. Located in the Tudor Center)
Blind draw at Time Out Lounge 3/6/10. Sign ups start at 7:30pm, draw at 8:00pm. The bar has agreed to match entry fees. Come have a good time at a great location!
Two games were called in: Bashers versus FDIII basher squeek out the victory with a 10 - 9 win in the A division. FDI versus FDII with FDI winning 16 - 3 in the B division. I'm told that PJ's has closed and that the PJ Kiss will be playing out of the Moose Lodge. TBD where the Dooners will be playing out of. If you want your scores posted plz call them in (529-5870). On a side note I would like the thank Halle and the PJ's staff for their dedication and support to ADA and the many other leagues throughout these many years.
This was the first week of the play-offs and all four of the top seeded teams advanced, although Flight Deck almost pulled an upset.
Moose rolled over Hideaway B 10 – 0, led by Conrad with a 140 and supported by Mike who shot a 132 and Dean a 121. Hideaway B did have one bright spot, Sam started one of his matches with a 118 on. Moose advances!
Unfortunatly a mis-communication has occured and the Blind Draw to be held at the Moose Lodge on Feb. 27 will be postponed until further notice.
Sorry for the inconvience. Keep checking for more posting on upcoming Blind Draws.

FYI, it has been brought to my attention that due to already scheduled Moose activities on Tuesday night between the hours of 5:30-8pm, the dart room can not be used for practice, make-ups or general use. We will post a bullentin at the Moose indicating anyother times that may come up as "no can use" times.
Sorry for the inconvience
Wally World.
Just a quick reminder, If you play for the Moose, you need to sign up to be a memeber no later than next week of play. See either Margaret Hale, Andrea Jarrett or Wally Evans for details.

Okay out with the old in with the new, I guess that is how it is suppose to go. The Moose is kicking off the new era of Blind Draw tournamnets this coming Saturday night (February 27) at 8:00 with signups prior. It should be a great time so come out and see the new diggs at the moose for soft tippers.
See you there.

Pioneer B ended the season on a high-note beating Hideaway B 19 to 0. Pioneer was led by Chief who took a 149 out to win his match and set a new league high-out in the process. Pioneer also reported that although they won, all the games were well played by both teams. That’s the news I like to hear reported – a good time was had by all.
