Play-offs are just around the corner and Hideaway A is making its move just in time. Hideaway A gave smoked Buckaroo last night 19 to 0, and although Mike for the Buckaroo turned in some impressive scores (140, 140 and 125) along with a high-on of 112. Apparently Hideaway play solid darts and didn’t get rattled, it also didn’t hurt that Tom and Scott both started their games with high-ons of 121 and 120 respectively. Good Darts Hideaway, with two weeks left it will be interesting to see where they are going to end up.

For the first time this season, Flight Deck recorded the highest number of wins for the week and thus gets top billing this week.

Flight Deck hosted Pioneer B this week for one of the highest scoring matches of the week. Flight Deck was led by Mike who shot a 140 and assisted by Keith with a 121. Josh turned in the highest score of the week with a 145. In the end, Flight Deck won 15 to 4.

The week of February 7, 2010 marks the begining of the spring Medalist leagues. If you are playing out of the Moose Lodge, packets will be available the night of play at the lodge. Medalist fees of $20/player and ASTDA fees of $10/player are also due soon. We will keep you posted on that.
Right now it looks like we have A doubles on Monday, B doubles on Monday, and trios on Wednesday. Should be lots of competion with a new atmosphere to adjust to. See you all there.

OK, maybe it was only a cup full, but when the only team not to lose a match finally does, I’ve got to talk about it.

ASTDA Medalist play in Conjuntion with Vend Alaska and DSC Ventures are currently undergoing some changes. As you might have heard Mike Dupes steped down as President of ASTDA to run his new Medalist leaques DSC Ventures. ASTDA has voted in a new Presiedent, Wally Evans to fill the vacancy. ASTDA will act in conjunction with Vend Alaska and DSC Ventures in promoting Medalist Play out of several different locations. Currently ASTDA is scheduling out of the Moose Lodge on Arctic Blvd. and DSC Ventures is working out of the Time Out Lounge and The Whaler.

Good games all across the league, here is a quick highlight on how everyone did.

Cabin Tavern visited the Hideaway this week and managed to come away with a win, but it was not for a lack of effort by Hideaway B. Rob started the night with a 112 on and went on to skunk Maryann in the first match. Not to be intimated, Sam for the Hideaway also shot a 112 on, but could hold the lead and ended up losing the game. Kristi led the Cabin to victory shooting a 140 in the team match to secure a 15 to 4 win for the Cabin.

Well it took no small feet, but it's happened! Players that partake in D.S.C. Leagues out of Time Out Lounge & The Alaskan Whaler can join ASTDA.

ASTDA fee is $10.00 a person per year.
This allows you to partake in the events they hold through out the year. As of late, there's been a few great tournaments with nice payouts! Each player has the option and must been done by the third week of season.

If you have any questions at all, give Mike Dupes a ring at 903-2731.

First, let me apologize two both of my loyal readers. My computer and I had a disagreement and we just final resolved the issue. So, now that my groveling is out of the way, along with the Christmas presents for Helga, the champagne for the New Year and the comb webs for not playing the last few weeks, on to the dart scores.
